Volunteering Your Time
A small personal effort can make a huge difference in the life of an animal
Volunteers play a very important role at Peace, Love, and Animals, because it is a rescue completely run by volunteer help. As a volunteer, you may be asked to clean a run, pass out food bowl at feeding time, fold towels, or simply take a dog for a walk. There is always more to do than there are hands to get it done.
Peace, Love and Animals is always looking for hardworking, dedicated and reliable animal lovers (ages 16 and up) to give some of their time and support for our life saving mission. As a volunteer, you can work hands on with the animals, help out at the events, assist administrative staff, transport animals to vet visits, and so much more...
If you have special carpentry skills and consider yourself handy! Barn renovations are still occuring and we need any help we can get.
Peace, Love, and Animals could not accomplish the life saving work it does without the compassion and diligence of our volunteer staff. We may be a small shelter, but we have big dreams. Anyone can make a difference in the life of an animal when they volunteer for us. We look forward to hearing from you!
